I have a chance to use the FUJINON GF250mmF4 R LM OIS WR paired with GFX100S for a while. I would say that it is easier to use for the cityscape photography and the quality of the file is significantly superior the lens is super sharp even when I use it with the Tele-converter and the 100MP file from GFX100S is very flexible and give me much more detail and dynamic range. It makes my job much easier

I am one of those who like to take “Telephoto” for cityscape photography because the effect of the lens really tightens the composition and brings the background closer to you. This “compress” technique captures so many details in the photo and creates an illusion of paramount which the others lens cannot do this job and create the look of the photo that the eyes of human cannot see. So, I always have a telephoto lens in my camera bag as one of the essential gears for the cityscape photography.

Another thing about this lens is that it can be paired with FUJINON GF1.4X TC WR to serve as teleconverter when I need extra more focal length. The best thing is the details of the file created with this combination is superb.

Usually I use APS-C camera. This is the first time I am using medium format, FUJIFILM GFX100S with the FUJINON GF 250mm F4 R LM OIS WR. The higher file quality provides me much more flexibility in editing. The pixel as high as 100 MP allows me the crop the photos with no worries in quality dropping. I can say that this combination of camera and lens really help me get a better quality and offer me a new perspective of my cityscape photography from the benefit of larger format sensor and the superb lens quality. I think this is the tools that really open the new door of the cityscape photography.
