I love nature and enjoy everything that nature brings to me. Whether it is mountains or grasslands, I want to keep my footsteps behind. I am Yuhan Ma , a landscape photographer. This is my third year using Fujifilm.
The Fujifilm medium format camera I first encountered was the GFX50S, and this time I got the brand new GFX50S II. The design and appearance of this camera are exactly the same as the GFX100S. The small and light body makes me feel that it is not like a medium format camera.
For long-term outdoor landscape photographers, the most important thing is image quality and weight. This brand new GFX50SII The camera is only 900g, equipped with 51.4M Pixel CMOS. While reducing the weight of the fuselage, the picture quality is also guaranteed.
The natural scenery subject I usually shoot is a very grand landscape, the picture will contain a lot of details, rocks, rivers, snow-capped mountains, etc., which requires a high resolution of the sensor, I hope that every corner of the shot is clear Textures and details.
GFX50S II satisfies this point, and the COMS of 51.4M pixels can also allow me to output very large size photos.
For landscape photographers, a camera not only needs to meet daytime shooting, but also needs to meet night shooting, which is a test of the high sensitivity of the machine. As a medium format camera, even if the sensitivity is opened to 5000, it can still be used. Get a relatively pure starry sky.
In landscape photography, we often shoot at sunrise and sunset. The light and shadow are the most attractive at this time. At the same time, the light ratio will be relatively large, which requires a higher tolerance for the camera. With this light ratio, this camera retains the details in both shadows and highlights very well, providing a huge space for my post-processing.
This brand-new GFX50S II also added an IBIS Stabilizer, which allowed me to capture excellent light and shadow at the fastest speed without the use of a tripod in many captures.
In natural scenery, I not only like to use a wide-angle lens to shoot, I also like to use a telephoto to shoot the level of the distant scenery. With a GF100-200mm lens and a 1.4x extender, the level of the distant scenery and the light and shadow are perfectly displayed.
A good camera must not only have excellent image quality, but also stability Standing in the water, this requires a relatively high level of the three-proof function of the camera and lens. And this camera is unaffected by splashing water.
I think this compact GFX50S II will be my best partner on my future landscape photography journey
