We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued use of Fujifilm products.
On April 27, 2023, we released updated firmware for the following two models of interchangeable lenses on our digital camera firmware download site, but we confirmed that the firmware update process did not work properly in rare cases, so we stopped the download of the firmware update for these versions.
<Models and versions for which the firmware download has been suspended>
To avoid the above issue, we have revised the firmware on the camera side.
Updating to the revised camera firmware will prevent the GF50mm & GF35-70mm lenses from the above update failure by interrupting the firmware update process in the unlikely event that an error is detected during the firmware update.
Therefore, the firmware download of GF50mm (Ver.1.10)/GF35-70mm (Ver.1.10) will be resumed when the camera firmware update is available.
We have also confirmed that there would be no problems with the interchangeable lenses for which the update was successfully completed, so the customers who updated to the above lens firmware without any problem can continue to use these lenses.

< How to update the firmware of GF50mm (Ver.1.10) & /GF35-70mm (Ver.1.10)>
1.Update the firmware of your camera body first from the following links.
- GFX100 II Firmware update Ver.2.21 or later
- GFX100 Firmware update Ver.5.11 or later
- GFX100S II Firmware update Ver.1.01 or later
- GFX100S Firmware update Ver.2.12 or later
- GFX 50S II Firmware update Ver.2.12 or later
- GFX 50S Firmware update Ver.4.51 or later
- GFX 50R Firmware update Ver.3.11 or later
2. Attach the interchangeable lens to the camera body and update the firmware of the lens.
3. The firmware is updated without any error, update is complete.
＜Important Notice>
In the unlikely event that firmware update process for any of the above interchangeable lenses is interrupted and the message below appears, please claim “Repair Service Center” in your country to upgrade the firmware.
Note-1：The followings are messages when the firmware update is interrupted (Messages vary depending on the model).
- Customers with GFX100 II/GFX100S II/GFX 50R/GFX 50S
“FIRMWARE UPDATE ERROR!! PLEASE CONTACT YOUR LOCAL FUJIFILM OFFICE”
